Asia's 5th Bangladesh in Internet Use

As the number of Internet users continues to grow rapidly around the world, the number of Internet users in Asia is named in the fifth place.

According to the latest data from the Internet World Stats, by December of last year, more than 8 million people came under the internet in Bangladesh. In 2000 this number was only one hundred thousand.

China has shown its huge achievement to bring 20 million to 77 billion and 20 million people under the Internet. The Internet availability rate in the country has reached 55.8 percent, which is 4.8 percent higher than the global average availability rate.

Between 2000 and 2017, the number of internet users in India reached 46 million 20 lakhs in one jump from 50 lakh. It is expected that this year the number will rise to 50 crores.

In Indonesia, the number of internet users stood at 20 million to 14 million 30 million. In Japan, the number is 11.8 million.

6 million 7 million in the Philippines and 640 million in Vietnam came under the Internet. In Thailand, internet users are now 5.7 million.

The number of Internet users in Pakistan was only 1.3 million, but at the end of last year, the number has reached 440 million.
