One of the first things you are supposed to do on Hive is write an introduction. Normally, I enjoy whipping up an article. This post?

I was born and live in Colombia, specifically in Envigado. I graduated from school in 2016 and I am currently halfway through the Psychology career, in which I have found many things of interest and in which I feel quite satisfied. image.pdf

Five months ago, when I published my first post on Hive, which is about the story of my first win using Sand Worm, I had no idea how this platform works. I never thought that whatever you published here will remain permanent. At that time, I was advised by @fionasfavourites (@lovesniper) to create an introduction post. I think about a week after, I made my self-introduction revising previous posts from both blogger and reddit just to comply with the request.

So I spent all night pondering on what to say when trying to describe myself. To be honest, it’s not an easy thing for me to do because I’ve got too many sides that I get confused whenever I’m asked to talk about myself. There’s the part of me that’s wild and free and then there’s the calm and conservative side. Funny enough, all sides coexist side by side without any interference with the other. There’s the loud part of me that gives people the impression that I’m a talkative and then the part that people see as very quiet too.

Here’s the thing, first times are sworn to be weird, awkward things. No crime, and certainly no shame in that. In the leadup to this introduction, I was advised to keep things within sensible boundaries, but that’s relative, as there’s no public arbiter to what sensible should entail. So here goes…
*I consider myself an extraordinary content creator; inflated cranium, and everything such a statement suggests. 8 years in on this self-aggrandizement, and I’ve managed to put out some of the most breathtaking, blush worthy, virtue bereft, and sometimes downright embarrassing articles, short posts, videos, skits, threads, photographs, name it. Main platforms? My waste basket and recycle bin. High standards? Authority? Pompous titles? I shit spectacularly on every vain bit of them with the most fancifully delivered satirical presentations. Limits? Boundaries? What on god’s earth is that myth even? Point is, I apply a zero-holds-barred approach to existence and human associations in general. Why? Excitement, plain and simple. An ardent devotion to a ‘moderately’ hedonistic living **(Special emphasis on ‘moderately’. I haven’t crossed over to the animal side, ‘yet’ - special emphasis on ‘yet’, as it’s entirely on the future cards).

Hello Hive, I believe this piece to be the beginning of a good time within this ecosystem, and I hope I can receive a huge welcome from you all. I am Prince Jamiu by name, and oh, I’m not from a royal family, it’s just a name I so happened to have been called for quite a long time than I can remember. I am a graduate from Accounting department, "safe to say that I was the Best Graduating Student that year”, I so much love that sentence🥰. I studied in one of the best University in Nigeria, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, and of course, I’m a citizen of that beautiful country. This young man here is still in his early 20’s.
