Hello everyone. I'm Enob Aseme and I'm so excited to finally be doing this - introducing myself on the Hive blog.
I'm a Nigerian and in my third year in university — the University of Port Harcourt — where I'm studying English and Literary Studies. Unlike a lot of my mates, I chose to study the course out of my love for writing and literature, and three years down the line, I'm still glad that I chose to study the course. Before I started attending my classes, I didn't know that the course entailed learning about other stuff like language in relation to society, and theories on discourse and language, until later when I got to find out how broad the course was.
I heard about Hive some months ago when my elder sister mentioned it to me, and then I got interested and asked her for more information about it. She's not registered on the platform or anything, but learnt of it from a friend who is highly active on the platform. What she told me was that it is a platform where I could write and earn money for it, and that was enough to get me interested — very interested — because I love writing and have even ghostwritten a few pieces.
Although I didn't know much about the Hive platform, only the little I was told by my sister, I registered soon but didn't post anything for months. I had browsed through articles, but was lazy about putting together an introduction post. So, that was how my account stayed bare until recently when I began to frequently browse through the communities I joined when I registered, and also comment on people's posts. I got so excited seeing write-ups on those communities because I'm passionate about those things - photography, fiction, culture, crafts and positivity. I had joined Hive Diy, The Ink Well, Photography Lovers, Hive Naija (because well, I'm a proud Nigerian you know), Feel Good and a few other communities relating to my interests. I couldn't help but finally put together an introduction post because I can hardly wait to start blogging about these things that I love and sharing my perspective of life with others on the platform.
I also love singing, designing stuff, watching movies, drawing (although I'm not very good at it), calligraphy, observing nature, and imagining beautiful scenarios.
Thanks to the Hive community for giving me this opportunity to share my thoughts and ideas with the rest of the world.

You have the butterfly picture here too🙃.
I'd say welcome but you got here way before I did lol.
When I made the butterfly post, I actually didn’t remember that I used it here. I hope it’s fine sha.
