Nací un 13 de diciembre de 1997, en el municipio Diez de Octubre de la provicncia La Habana. Desde muy pequeño sentí una inclinación por las tecnologías en especial por las computadoras.
I was born on December 13, 1997, in the municipality of Diez de Octubre, Havana province. From a very young age, I felt a passion for technology, especially computers.
Mi primera PC fue una Asus Intel Pentium II con apenas 512 MB de ram, correr Windows XP y algún que otro juego por aquellos días era un lujo.

Mis primeros pasos en informática fueron aprendiendo de ofimática, edición de videos muy básica y algún retoque a imágenes. Mi pasión real despertó cuando me regalaron una netbook que corria un SO basado en linux llamado MeeGo, el cual cambié por un Ubuntu 14.04 pero ante la indisponibilidad por aquellos días de acceso por mi parte a los repos tuve que abandonar y regresar a Windows XP.
My first steps in computing involved learning office automation, basic video editing, and some image retouching. My true passion was sparked when I was given a netbook running a Linux-based operating system called MeeGo. I traded it for Ubuntu 14.04, but due to the lack of access to the repositories at the time, I had to abandon it and return to Windows XP.
Por aquellos días conocí otra de mis pasiones, el cine de culto. Películas como Star Wars, Back to the Future e Indiana Jones fueron mi día a día y aún hoy disfruto mucho de ellas especialmente de todo el universo de Star Wars.
During that time, I discovered another of my passions: cult films. Movies like Star Wars, Back to the Future, and Indiana Jones were my daily routine, and I still enjoy them today, especially the entire Star Wars universe.

I've always been someone who enjoys learning and teaching what I know, so when I started learning about computer networks, this eventually led me to become a Linux-based systems administrator and to teach computer classes.

Linux server administration is an area I consider essential to master; the technical aspects ensure that information systems operate securely, reliably, and efficiently. This skill has given me the ability to manage technological infrastructures to high standards of availability and performance, constantly facing and overcoming new challenges.
Cuando decidí aprender a programar tuve muchos desafíos entre ellos que no tenía una comunidad donde comenzar a mostrar mis avances y que criticaran lo que había hecho para ayudarme a mejorar, no tenía bien definido que lenguaje quería aprender ni a que área de la programación quería dedicarme. La vida me ha llevado por el camino de desarrollo de aplicaciones web pero mi verdadero interés está en el desarrollo de aplicaciones de escritorio nativas para GNU/Linux. He dedicado numerosas horas a perfeccionar mis habilidades en este ámbito, explorando tanto el diseño de interfaces atractivas como la parte lógica y funcional del backend de los sitios y aplicaciones que desarrollo.
When I decided to learn to program, I faced many challenges. Among them was the lack of a community where I could showcase my progress and receive critiques to help me improve. I wasn't sure what language I wanted to learn or what area of programming I wanted to pursue. Life has led me down the path of web application development, but my true interest lies in developing native desktop applications for GNU/Linux. I have dedicated many hours to refining my skills in this area, exploring both the creation of attractive interfaces as well as the logical and functional aspects of backend development for the websites and applications I build.
A finales de 2021 comencé a varias comunidades de Administadores de Redes, de Programadores y comencé a adquirir conocimiento con mayor velocidad e intercambiar información y experiencias con otros miembros de la comunidad. Comencé a asistir en los FLISOL (Festival Latinoamericano de Instalación del Software Libre) y a integrarme en esa comunidad donde comparto aún a día de hoy.
At the end of 2021, I joined several Network Administrators and Programmers communities and began to acquire knowledge more quickly and exchange information and experiences with other community members. I began attending FLISOL (Latin American Free Software Installation Festival) and became part of that community, where I still share my experience to this day.
Soy un amante de los animales, todos estos años de aprendizaje y desarrollo como profesional han sido en compañía de mis pequeños que en cada noche de desvelo están presentes. Eventualmente mi felicidad se vió multiplicada en lo que hoy son mis 4 niños que no cambiaría por nada.
I'm an animal lover. All these years of learning and developing as a professional have been spent in the company of my little ones, who are always there for me every sleepless night. Eventually, my happiness was multiplied by what I now have as my four children, whom I wouldn't trade for anything.
Espero poder formar parte de esta comunidad de la que tan bien han hablado mis compañeros de trabajo.
