Hi guys! It’s soooooo good to be here! Know why? You’ll find out in this article.
The name of my humble self is Chukwu Nkechinyere. My first name is actually “Nkechinyerem” meaning “the one God has given me”. When you shorten my name, it gives a different but slightly similar meaning. Some call me “Nkechi”, meaning “God’s own”, some others call me “Chinyere” meaning “God’s given”. Most of my friends call me “N.K” which of course means “N.K”….. Lol.
I have a middle name which was also my mum’s name. The name was given to her by my grandmum because of the story surrounding her birth. And she gave it to me just for being “the first daughter that had to bear mum’s name”. That didn’t sound like a good reason to me and I never liked the name. Hence the reason I’m not going to mention it here….. YET.
Alright, moving on... A whole day isn’t even enough to write about myself. I’ve always said that writing about my life will beget a sequel. But hey… no worries, this is going to be really brief.
I am from the eastern part of Nigeria. I love writing sooooo much. Yes, I do! Hence, the reason for the statement in the first line of this article. I have been a writer for about 4 years now. I write contents ranging from website content, blog posts, whitepapers and educational contents.

I recently graduated from the university and do you know a secret? Graduation feels just like being released from a prison!…Lol. Before you crucify me, let me clarify. School wasn’t bad. It was great actually but the fact that I am free to fully focus on my writing passion and making money without thinking of resumption date or how to prepare for the semester exams, is a relief. I was in the university for 6 years and now I am really looking forward to how far my capabilities can take me. So yeah, there goes my reason. I hope you don’t forget to keep my secret safe by the way.
One significant thing about me is that I love independence. I like when I can provide for myself without feeling like I owe anyone anything. Maybe because I feel indebted easily. But life is designed in such a way that we always need each other. Like the saying goes, “no man is an island”. I know that very well but something deep inside of me just likes going the other way. I have a story on that but that will be shared in another article so I don’t digress so much.
Over the years I have gone into and still into a whole lot of things. Here’s what I mean; I have been a teacher, sales rep, event coordinator, event decorator, balloon artist, business owner, factory worker, freelancer, house cleaner, fashion designer, network marketer, content writer, website designer, email marketer, graphic designer, blogger, model, Oh yesss, I have been into all of that.. lol. You can call me the typical jack of all trade. Even I’m shocked sometimes too. I don’t have an explanation for it all, just that I love exploring. Delving into all of those things earned me lots of knowledge and experiences which means lots of stories in store for you guys!
I believe in continuous self-development. I’m always open to learning new things. I continually fish out for opportunities to add to the little knowledge I have. Typical example is how I started blogging, built my website, learnt all about SEO and the likes without having to go for a class. I’m definitely going to share my blogging story with you guys one of these days so stay tuned!
Despite all that seriousness I explained earlier, I’m a really fun person to be with if I say so myself. I enjoy parties, sports, dancing, music and anything that screams fun generally. Do you know that I can dance for several hours without getting tired?! Oh yes guys, I’m not even kidding. P.S: That doesn’t necessarily mean I’m good at it. What I’m saying in essence is that I rarely reject an opportunity to have fun. Basically, anything that involves cruising around, dancing and eating, count me in!
I’m excited that this platform offers me the opportunity to express myself while getting rewarded in the process.
