Hello, steemit.
My name is Andrew. Like many, I've been gaining an appreciation for blockchain technology and discovered steemit through my research. I'm also getting pretty tired with many of the leading social/aggregator sites, and am excited to try this community.
I'm in nonprofit communications by trade, and began my career in political advocacy ending the war on drugs. I care a lot about racism and ending institutional oppression, and this informs much of my life. That said, I'm a glutton for media and consumer technology in my down time. I'm an avid gamer and moviegoer, not to mention a huge fan of contemporary hip hop and electronic music.
