Finally made the plunge to enter this new world of Hive.
Strange and mysterious it be, yet full of potential.
Written words, so ubiquitous, yet who really owns and controls them?
These are my words.
Methinks.
It's worth a shot at least.
Anyways, in common parlance, I'm Stephen aka Beaver0: Web3 writer and co-founder of Sitka World, a Web3 fantasy brand and writing collective. I've been introduced to Hive by the #scholarandscribe community, and am now here to #introducemyself.
I'm an online entrepreneur, film professional, actor, and NFT enthusiast. While my professional background is in wealth management (research, trading, and content marketing), I went into business for myself doing online marketing and running an agency of my own for a year, before finding Web3. Now I am deeply involved in a number of Web3 projects and teams, especially those focused on quality storytelling and real-world utility. I'm a producer with Story DAO, a member of Page DAO, and a member of the Soltype Writers Club.
Though I've published a book on freelance pricing, my greatest achievement may have been marrying my best friend and fellow (better) writer Rae and spending 5 months backpacking around Europe together (among many other adventures). My goal is basically to travel the world and ponder philosophical thoughts like a hippie.
Sitka World is a brand Rae and I started based on a fantasy trilogy she has been writing for over 10 years, called the Sitka Saga. The Sitka Saga is a carefully-crafted, dual POV northern fantasy story. What if Outlander met Harry Potter met Handmaid's Tale? You get the idea. It's pretty sick.
We are exploring more immersive, gamified Web3 ways to contribute to and experience the story, including gaming integrations, IP licensing, and royalty sharing options. The other main focus of ours is on serving writers with education, workshops, networking, and support for creative writers, including a Guild of Scribes for serving the broader Web3 space (which is in dire need of better storytelling).
That's our dream at least that we are working towards, to bring the magic of quality storytelling to Web3.

Appreciate the communities list; we're hoping to get more of our Sitka World community introduced to Hive and I'll share those communities.
