INTRODUCTION
Greetings my new friends, I am very excited to be here on the Hive platform. I would be using this introductory post as an avenue that will enable the older members and those coming after get to know a few things about me.
My name is Deemene Nwideede, with the username @bromene. Bromene is a name that was given to me by friends during my school days in the tertiary institution, I have come to develop special attachment to this name that I want to build a brand for it.
I am an indigene of Baen community, Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State, Southern Nigeria. The Ogoni axis of Niger Delta is popularly known as one the most oil populated site in the world due to the activities of oil multinationals. However, we hope that one day our environment will be remedied.
EDUCATION
I am a graduate of Environmental Health Technology from the Rivers State College of Health Science and Management Technology. I hope to advance my studies in due course, however, I am still improving my skills and knowledge through whatever means I can lay my hands. Learning they say, never stops.
WORK
Being a public health professional, I have being involved in several public health campaigns organized by WHO and UNICEF as well as Rivers State Government. Some of the campaigns I have participated in are:
- Kick polio vaccination campaign.
- Tetanus toxoid vaccination campaign for women of childbearing age.
- Measles vaccination campaign for children 0-5 years of age.
I am also a Real Estate Consultant with Entero Homes Ltd, a real estate company in Rivers State Nigeria. I decided to make real estate my second love because of my passion for entrepreneurship and business development. I have closed several deals and more also on the verge of being closed too.
Because of my passion for entrepreneurship, I have co-founded a digital marketing company (Malacrit Enterprise) that has continued to make steady progress in last one year.

HOBBIES
Well, I am lover of fashion, so I am less engaged with my regular work hustle, I design fashion wears for male and female. Interestingly, for the past two years I have been the one designing and sewing my own clothes.
My cooking skills are top notch! I am gifted when it comes to playing with cooking utensils and ingredients. A friend of mine once said, “if it is because of cooking people get married, then don’t bother”. Funny right? But I am only taking that advice with a pinch of salt. I may consider setting up a restaurant in my neighbourhood but until then, l will just be cooking for family and friends.
During my one-year National Youth Service, I enrolled in the interior decoration class that was organized for corps members during the 21 days orientation exercise. Since 2019 I have worked on several interior decoration projects.
I love taking care of birds, may be because of my life for 9ja jollof rice and chicken. But I actually enjoy watching them grow. It is always a wonderful experience.

WHY I AM INTERESTED IN HIVE
I have been active on centralized social media since 2012, though I as a digital marketer must of my clients are being sourced from through that medium. However, I needed a platform that was more free, interactive, educative and decentralized. So, when I got introduced to Hive, I was really impressed with what what the platform stands for.
MY CONTRIBUTIONS TO HIVE
I love writing, I love research and I love sharing ideas. I am a very innovative personality with special interest in technology and start-ups. I would definitely like to connect with like minds here, I would also like to build friendship and network beyond Hive ecosystem. I look to having an interesting time here.
APPRECIATION
Like we say in Nigeria “follow who know road”; I was introduced to Hive by my colleague and friend @zestimony. He has really been helpful in providing the necessary information to help me navigate the Hive ecosystem successfully. Learning they say never stops, as long I am a member of this platform I will keep improving on what I already know.
