I like the way reddit just has that one small ad. If this meant more money in the steem system i would not mind that. But plastering ads everywhere will annoy me.
The new Steem created is divided between the content creators depending on how many votes they get and the weight of the votes. Steemit is ranked 2,500 in the most visited websites in the world, up 6,000 places in the last 3 months. I expect this to continue rising as the platform grows, and I also expect the value of Steem to double or triple over the next year or so which will mean more payouts :D
