Hello #steemit, my name is Osarodion Dorcas, I'm 20years Old.
Who Am I
I am Dorcas Osarodion, a native of Edo state, Nigeria, but currently residing and schooling in Orel state, Russia. I am a bona fide christian, average in height and also a medical student and aspire to specialise in cardio in the nearest future. Below are some pictures of my friends and I.
Who Introduced Me To Steemit
Okoli Ebuka Michael A.K.A. @happymichael as many of you here know him. Well, this cool dude happens to be my old secondary school mate and also a good friend of mine. He introduced me to this wonderful and unique platform called #steemit and I decided to join as it would serve as a perfect means to express myself, share ideas and also get rewarded. I am tired of wasting my time on facebook and other social media. And now I'm all set to give all it takes to make #steemit grow and also receive my own reward. Tell me,
who likes to work and not get rewarded??!😉
Hobbies
• Reading: I so much love reading, and I am glad I have finally found the platform where I can read and learn more.
• writing: I enjoy writing as it serves as a means in which I express my self and also pass some messages across to people.
• Swimming (does #steemit have a swimming pool? Or is it just a reward pool?) Lol!😁
• Touring (#dlive, watch out for me) hehe!
Life Goals.
My goals and aim in life is to live a life that pleases God, make my family proud ,giving voices to the voiceless, and putting smiles on the lips of people, especially the less privileged.😇
My Contributions To Steemit.
For a start, I intend blogging about random things such as health(due to my field of study), inspirational posts, ideas that would go a long way in helping many on this platform. All i would need from you is to click that follow button and stay tuned to read amazing posts that will ooze out from my blog. I love you all.
I am still very new here and I dont know my left from right, tho @happymichael has promised to help me get along with the #community but I will also need you guys help too. I am not a social person😓, I have always liked keeping a cool and quiet profile but @happymichael said that would have to change in a way as #steemit is a platform that promotes socialisation.
He (@happymichael) also told me about some big names I am likely to meet on #steemit, he said they try their best to make steemit a home for newbies and planktons like me. So I have decided to give credit to them. They include:
• @surpassinggoogle - @happymichael describes him as the man who has got all minnows/planktons at heart and he(@happymichael) also said many describe him(@surpassinggoogle)as the father of all minnows. @happymichael has told me a lot of things about you and I thankgod I am here to actually witness it.
• @abigail-dantes -(@happymichael says she's his steem-mum and a psychologist) I am glad I would have to meet you too ma.
• @nairadaddy - the owner of @air-clinic according to @happymichael. I think I have found my home😏.
• @humanearl - @happymichael calls him his senior and mentor. Its a pleasure sir.
• @swissclive - @happymichael told me about a post you made that helped him and would also help me and I am going to read it after this.

As a reader / writer, an international student, an idealist, and an ecstatic person who is motivated to do something constructive, you will certainly find Steemit to be a great platform. It's not so much a social network as a grand community with an amazing publishing platform.
And as someone who knows how to write, I'm certain that you'll have a large impact (eventually) and find true success here (eventually).
(I hope you can stay warm in Russia. I'm a Canadian now living in Thailand, and I often find it difficult to stay COOL! ☺ )

Just like you, ... "I am not a social person😓, I have always liked keeping a cool and quiet profile." I can get by in a crowd, but I usually prefer the company of one friend at a time. Or solitude. ☺
I thought Facebook was horrible, and after a short time on it, I abandoned my account. Steemit is an entirely different beast, where even quiet people like you can do well.

Mostly I invested a little bit in STEEM in order to purchase STEEM POWER and STEEM DOLLARS. Why? Its simply important. Without initial investment it will be very hard for you to build reach here and be noticed.
