My name is Edgar Landivar, and I was brought to Hive by a close friend known here as @meno. As my bio mentions, I’m an electrical engineer who’s been around the block a few times.
These days, I’m juggling a variety of projects, not all tied to my engineering degree. As a serial entrepreneur, I’ve never been one to stick to a single path.
Years ago, my entrepreneurial journey kicked off with a software company called PaloSanto. It was my first venture, my leap into building something on my own. The lessons from that experience shaped the course of my life.
Right now, I’m collaborating with a talented team to develop renewable energy solutions for homes in Ecuador. After an energy crisis hit just months ago, I found myself drawn to this challenge, and I’m loving every moment. There’s something about designing circuits that truly sparks my curiosity.
On X, I’ve built a solid following, and I’m considering sharing some of the content I create here with them. It feels like a natural fit. I’ve been chatting with @meno about Hive for weeks, and I’m starting to grasp the potential of this platform.
I know I’ve got plenty to learn about Hive and how it works, but my engineering mindset keeps me eager to soak up new knowledge and grow.

Mi nombre es Edgar Landívar y llegué a Hive gracias a un buen amigo conocido aquí como @meno. Como dice mi biografía, soy ingeniero eléctrico y he dado unas cuantas vueltas al sol.
Hoy en día, estoy inmerso en una variedad de proyectos, no todos relacionados con mi título de ingeniería. Como emprendedor en serie, nunca he sido de los que se quedan en un solo carril.
Hace años, mi aventura empresarial comenzó con una compañía de software llamada PaloSanto. Fue mi primer proyecto, mi salto a construir algo por mi cuenta. Las lecciones de esa experiencia dieron forma al rumbo de mi vida.
Actualmente, estoy trabajando con un equipo talentoso en el desarrollo de soluciones de energía renovable para hogares ecuatorianos. Tras una crisis energética hace apenas unos meses, me vi atraído por este desafío, y lo estoy disfrutando mucho. Hay algo en diseñar circuitos que realmente despierta mi curiosidad.
En X, he conseguido un buen número de seguidores, y estoy pensando en compartir con ellos parte del contenido que cree aquí. Me parece una idea lógica. He estado hablando con @meno sobre Hive durante semanas, y creo que empiezo a entender el valor de esta plataforma.
Sé que tengo mucho por aprender sobre Hive y su funcionamiento, pero mi mentalidad de ingeniero me mantiene siempre ansioso por adquirir nuevos conocimientos y crecer.

What’s really interesting to me is that the content is stored on the blockchain. I have my blog on neomano.com (in Spanish), but I’ve always wondered what will happen if I die one day—what will happen to the content. I think it’s hopeful to know that there’s at least one way. In my case, that’s the power of Hive.
