I am very honored to be accepted into steemit , and will do my best to contribute value to the community.
I am a former I.T. professional, but now am more interested in social justice, political engagement, environmental issues and financial and corporate regulation.
I have strong spiritual beliefs, which are the foundation of my life. My life mission is to assist to create a world where everyone has equal opportunities. Where fairness and justice are the governing principles of life, and where everyone has the opportunity to pursue their dreams and goals in safety.
I have direct personal experience of child abuse, homelessness, addiction and mental health problems. I am interested in addressing these and other social issues. I am also interested in the study of the Corporatocracy, politics, lobbying and exploring the coexistence of socialism and capitalism.
I believe in animal rights and hope one day to see this world free of the torture and slaughter of animals. I am also interested in the protection of the environment and am observing the conflict between those who believe in man made climate change and those who do not.
Although I worked in I.T. for a number of years, I am not so interested in it anymore except for the emergence of the automated economy, due to robotics and artificial intelligence and am monitoring the progress of the idea of a Universal Basic Income.
I enjoy science fiction, and have written a sci-fi space opera ebook. I am also a starseed for anyone out there who knows what that is.
