Allow me to introduce myself briefly - I'm Gabriel Ololade, a 25-year-old writer and creative entrepreneur from Nigeria. Over the years, I've been sharpening my skills in two areas - SEO content writing for businesses, and fiction storytelling to fuel my imagination. Building connections through writing brings me purpose and happiness.
Honestly, there's always been something unsatisfying about the traditional online writing gigs and platforms for me. It feels like I'm just another piece in someone else's puzzle, lacking real control over my work or the chance to connect deeply with readers.
That's why I was immediately drawn to Hive when I first discovered it on YouTube. A decentralized community where creators own their content and are fairly rewarded? Plus, we all play a role in shaping the ecosystem? It's like a refreshing change of pace! It felt like a breath of fresh air!
In this first post, I'll keep it simple - I'm thrilled to kick off my journey on Hive and can't wait to fully immerse myself. As a fiction writer, expect original stories that transport you to imaginative realms. And drawing from my content background, I'm excited to share insights on best practices for blockchain-based blogging and audience building.
