This is my first post other than a few comments on here, and I don't plan on endorsing any coins really. I don't think my picture is working either, oh well.
So I'll tell you a little about myself. I'm 23 years old, from a small town (graduating class of about 80), and not from some prominent background. I come from a family of hard workers and our motto is "Take in pride in your work, no matter what it may be."
I was always the "nerd", of the family. My brothers were the football stars and I was the one trying to learn HTML in the basement on the computer. (I failed miserably.) But I did manage to order new parts for the computer and upgrade its hardware with my own money. I just bough some RAM and new GPU, nothing fancy but I felt so cool holding these chips that can do all these amazing things. My brothers complimented me on my work, saying it was running faster. It felt good.
Growing up we had the Nintendo systems, and I always somehow beat my brothers scores in the games. Whatever it may be, obviously though, my favorites were the Mario games. One day though, a brother of mine surprised me, he just randomly bought me a PC game. Can you guess what it was? Online, FPS, very famous... It was CS 1.6. So I installed it, registered my account on Steam(lul), and my life was changed from that day. Something very similar to this day here...
I remember first hearing of Bitcoin, the mysterious cryptocurrency. I always thought it was only accessible on the Darkweb, or Deep web as some like to call it. It wasn't until this year that I bought my first BTC. I tried years ago and even last year, but I always thought I was going to lose my money since I was on the deepweb trying to buy them. I didn't know any better, I had no idea..
I first heard that you can do it on normal websites/browsers during a random call for a squad on PUBG(fun game btw). This guy claims to be a whale(I've never actually seen proof), and is talking all about cryptos and doesn't stop, so I started asking questions and eventually discovered how easy it is to get started. Naturally he sent me the coinbase link lol. I added him and we continue to discuss crypto's and upcomming ICO's. He very well may have changed my life and will be "that guy" from the stories I tell my children.
Now that I've started and have been investing for about a month now, I've become addicted. I've made a few hundred dollars already just trading here and there, I also have some long-term investments I've made. I truly believe I've just been lucky with most of it, but who knows, I plan on just riding the waves and going with the flow. Maybe one of these will take me to the moon.
