I don't understand this question what has facebook to do with steemit?
In steemit you share content and if it is good people might value it and upvote it because they think it is worth something they are not liking your stuff they are actually saying it's worth money.
Facebook you just share stuff people like it and nothing more than that, yeah you can sell stuff also.
But steemit is a blockhain-database social platform so it's nothing like facebook i use facebook to connect with my family and steemit to share my work and gain more knowledge
