Just a bit about myself I was born in South Africa and lived on a farm for awhile then immigrated over to Australia with my immediate family. Had a fascination with ants when I was young and still do. It is a little weird I guess but ants are super interesting to me almost like a miniature empires. Termites, bees and hornets also very interesting. Got into photography 2 years ago mostly wanted to get into macro because I always wish I could show people what I have seen. But the more I did it the more I wanted to try capturing animals and ended up getting more lenses. Also got into bird photography since I had a lot as pets when I was a kid so I just love them especially doves and in Western Australia there are pretty unique ones. My bird photos will probably be birds that are hardly moving since my camera I am using isn't super great at capturing fast motion while still keeping a low ISO. I am looking at getting a better camera.
I also have a interest in cryptocurrency. I believe it is the future for people that want to check out of the manipulated slave market we have today. In my opinion it is criminal that citizens in every country are laden with debt put on them by governments without they're permission. I also like the decentralised nature of crypto and support it 100%. Nobody should have absolute power since as we can all see that governments with absolute power are they themselves always corrupt blaming the people for there failures and making excuses knowing full well that they are to blame and instigating and manipulating all people behind the scenes for there own self interests. And we all know that paper IOU money is worthless anyway and is not backed by gold anymore.
But back to photography I learned a lot from my photos so far. For instance the fact that mosquitoes have feathers on them and that spiders have hairs either to feel or pin down prey.

One of the main reasons why I got into photography was because of the focus stacking technique. It is the method of taking many photos at different focus points on a subject and then stitching those photos together at the in focus positions. It is easier than it sounds because the computer does everything for you the hard parts are keeping the subject still in that time and because it is macro any slight movement will be like a earthquake so using methods not to move the camera while it is taking its photos is crucial. Lets say you take 100 photos and the subject moves at 50 you can pretty much start over. So you need to have a lot of patience and be ready to get frustrated a lot because your subject is unruly.

The photo below is not focus stacked you can see this because the plane of focus is only on the eyes.

I also started enjoying taking photos of animals. Lately I have taken a interest in birds because of the detail in there feathers. For some reason I have a bit of a obsession on the eyes and faces of animals. Because birds are so small and the lenses of some camera manufacturers can only get you so close it is a challenge to get close enough to get the detail that I am after. But for me it is worth it once I do get that photo.

As my taste in the photos are improving you will see I will try to include the bokeh effect which is hard sometimes because you can't really choose where you will take the photo of a wild animal. But bokeh is the blurry background you see on some photos that is caused by a mixture of the aperture of the camera and the subject separation to the background. You can see this from the photo below.

Hope you enjoy my photos I am trying to sell them so I can get my work to people. Currently I am using mainly Redbubble but would like to in the future focus on selling high quality wall prints via a website. Redbubble takes 95% of the cut since you are using they're website and services but you can increase what you get but that means the client only pays more on top of the price so I would rather sell a 100 and make $1 than sell 1 and make $100. Maybe in the future when I am more confident in my photos will I get my own website and sell through there. Thank you for reading this far and hopefully you will enjoy my photos that is coming.
