Pope Francisco got off the popemobile that traveled the streets of Iquique, on his last day of the visit to Chile, to learn

about the conditions of a carabinera that fell from the horse when he passed by, says EFE.

The popemobile passed by the horse that got scared and threw the carabinera to the ground.

Francisco, realizing what had happened, ordered the vehicle to be stopped and went down to inquire about the conditions of the woman and waited at his side until an ambulance arrived.

The members of the security approached to help the carabinera and Francisco was present next to her while they attended her.

Vatican spokesman Greg Burke explained that the woman was conscious and received words of comfort from Francisco.
