Hello, my name is Hung and I come from the country of Vietnam.
In the uppermost photo I am wearing an áo dài, the traditional dress of Vietnam. It is made from silk and often featuring vivid colours. Men can wear it too!
My country is not much well known by lots of people except for the Vietnam War. You might be wondering what this war is called in Vietnam. It is known as 'The Resistance War Against America.' But don’t worry yankee friends, we don’t hate America or Americans in my country, which surprises many! These days we are making stronger friendship alliances with the USA as our fear of China’s future is stronger than our hatred over past situations.
I feel pity that people only think of my country for war. We have wealthy history alongside tremendous change and development in the 20 years prior.
My intention is to present both fun and serious Vietnam topics such as: travel, food, nature, culture and history.
My country has lots of beautiful areas, and historical buildings. A lot of influence came from China and France.
Many exotic animals live in Vietnam.
As this is introductory post I write a little something about myself. My part-time job is promotions.
I’m studying to work in Pharmacy. It’s tough. But a good job can bring prosperity to my family and my future.
I recently became a Jihad maniac.
Just kidding. I’m buddhist!
