Hello Steemians, This is Ajay Chavan. I recently got to know about Steemit and really like the concept. You may not know my name nor my story. So here I am. On this blog, now onwards I am going to share the fragments of my story of how I fought with the demons in my mind and society and got out of the rat race and now running a profitable business.
If I can do it, so can you!
Let me first introduce myself as it is the ritual of Steemit to introduce yourself become telling your story.
I am a guy from a small village called Poladpur in Konkan, Maharashtra in India. I completed my high school education from the same village in the local language. And for the further education, I needed to go to the big city, Mumbai. This was almost 8 years ago. Being a boy from a small village you have a massive inferiority complex. I was shit scared. I was horrified by many questions in my mind and some of them didn't even make any sense. How am I gonna mix with these people? Will they accept me? I don't have expensive, branded clothes, gadgets like them, what if they declared me as an outcast. Am I gonna be alone in the whole college? The questions kept firing at me.
I was a good student in the high school studies as all the curriculum was in the local language called Marathi. English was mere a study subject for us back them. But for my engineering course in the city of Mumbai, I had to speak English. Unfortunately, my English was not that good. But soon I started learning new things. I started reading more. I started communicating with more people. Now I was confident. I was filled with willpower. I realized I am not someone who can live his every day same for 75 years and call it a life. I realized I am made to do something big. I m just an employee material. So I decided not opt for a job as an IT professional as soon as I graduated with my Bachelor of Engineering degree but instead do something of my own.
I was going crazy and restless. I couldn't sleep. I was regretting why I spent 6 years of my life for the degree which is not making me happy now. That degree seemed useless now. The untamed fire in my head was making me aggressive and restless. Now I was hell bent start my own business. But little did I know that I was still carrying the chains of expectation and responsibilities from my family, friends, and the relationship I was in.
Finally, I took a leap and started a website along with my brother and a friend. Eventually, the friend left the venture and opted for a job. Since that first website, we started 3 different websites and currently running a succesful content business Teenatheart.com
The point of telling you all this is I am a normal guy from a small village but I achieved what I wanted against all the odds. I want to tell my story to the world to inspire them and tell them all that matters is that first leap. Once you jump from the cliff you can learn to fly during the freefall.
I'll be sharing various things from my life that molded me into an entrepreneur. Things like your eduction, friendships, family, relationships and how a life of an hustling entrepreneur looks like.
I hope I can help and inspire someone from my story. Thank you. #IntroduceYourself #startup #entrepreneur #hustle

Some people say design is about solving problems. Obviously designers solve problems but so do dentists. Design is about cultural invention.
