¡Hola comunidad de Steemit!
Me llamo Luis Miguel. Soy un estudiante de ciencias biológicas en la Universidad Simón Bolívar, Venezuela. Para ser más específicos, soy ecólogo marino y me dedico en particular a entender como funcionan los corales. Esto significa que tengo la dicha de que parte de mi trabajo implica bucear en uno de los ecosistemas más diversos, coloridos y sorprendentes. Pero también, implica trabajar en laboratorio bajo condiciones controladas, manipulando variables para responder preguntas sobre estas importantes criaturas.
Parte de mi interés en pertenecer a esta comunidad es mi propio interés en divulgar lo que hacemos los científicos y que pueda ser comprendido y valorado por la sociedad en general. Y si bien existen muchísimos divulgadores en inglés, he encontrado que la divulgación de la ciencia en español es más escasa (y más si queremos saber lo que hacen los científicos venezolanos).

Espero que mis publicaciones resulten de su interés y ayuden a comprender un poco mejor lo que hacemos los científicos y en partícular, los biólogos marinos.
