I am Manjunath from India. I was born in Madurai, India. I am working as a Linux Server Administrator L2 with 7 years of experience in Productions environment and understanding of business processes in Tata Consultancy Services, Chennai, India.

My Job responsibilities:
Providing Production support to end users by playing a responsible role in troubleshooting problems logged by the client throughout the world in Operations of their Domains, servers, Virtualization, DNS, Mails and providing complete Technical Support for the Client Company.
Building, testing & Deploying new servers in offshore and inshore locations as per the client needs and managing them.
Monitoring all production servers, applications, services and respond to alerts according to SOP.
Installation and Troubleshooting server of various Virtualization such as XEN source, OpenVZ, KVM.
Creating Virtual machines in public and private cloud environment, managing and monitoring their performance.
Creating templates to the Virtual Machines with required services and configs
Moving VM's from one nodes to another node.
Remotely accessing the server via SSH terminal and troubleshooting issues.
Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of various server Control panel such as SolusVM, cPanel, Kloxo, Plesk etc.
Troubleshooting boot up problems via remote tools such as IPMI, iDrac, iLo etc.
Installing and configuring services like NFS, FTP, Apache, and basic knowledge on DNS, DHCP, HA Proxy and Squid.
Configuring and running Backup and Restore operations in accordance with the norms and requirements of business.
Configuring and troubleshooting LVM, RAID.
Complete server management such as load monitoring, Installing, running and updating necessary applications.
Upgrading and downgrading the server as per client needs and applying patches.
Installing, Configuring and monitoring servers using Nagios.
Performing disaster recovery operations.
Server Administration Skills:
Virtualization- Installing and configuring XEN, KVM and VZ. Creating and managing VM's in it. Upgrading/Downgrading its resources according to business needs. Migrating VM's from one LUN to another etc.
Internal Storage- Configuring and managing LVM based partitions.
Administration Tools: Impressive knowledge in SolusVM panel.
Performance Monitoring- Event logs, Top, IO monitoring, IPtraf for DDOS monitoring, SSH consoling, Remote desktops, VNC etc.
Monitoring Tools- Installing and configuring Nagios, nConf.
Web servers - Decent knowledge in Apache and Nginx. Installing, Configuration, and troubleshooting basic issues.
Mysql- Decent knowledge in Installing and optimization. Repairing tables if crashed, Taking dump, restoring databases.
Systems rescue/Hardware: Consoling through IPMI, iDrac, iLo, IRMC, KVM, Booting the server via rescue, single user, Live CD and troubleshooting.
Networking- Good understanding of network concepts such as TCP/IP, DHCP, Switches, routers, LAN etc.
Security- IP Tables, CSF, TCP wrappers, SSH. Preventing DDOS attack using IP Tables and other security tools, hardening the server etc.
My Interest in Share Market and Cryptocurrencies:
In 2017, I started to learn about the Share Market and Cryptocurrencies. After getting enough knowledge, I have started investing in Share Market and Cryptocurrencies from March, 2018.
I love to read articles about the Web Hosting Issues and the Solutions, Cryptocurrencies, Share Market, Travel, Photography, but I haven't tried to write articles in blogs.
Today I am writing my first post about myself. I will continue to write my articles about the knowledge I get.
