Introduction - Investor & Trader's Diary

After a few weeks of browsing and getting inspired by other members of the steemit community, I think it’s about time to start my own journey on this revolutionary platform. Being part of generation X, I never really got the hype around social media, I don’t even own a Facebook account. Back in my day, me and many of friends didn’t even own stationary phones, if I wanted to talk them, I would have to get my ass out of the house and bike to meet them. After 25 years of corporate life, I have decided to dedicate my time to investing, and lately also trading. A huge part of investing is learning, studying, following new trends, understanding new technologies etc. That is how I ended up becoming fascinated by cryptocurrencies and technologies surrounding this. As initially being a bit skeptic abut social media, investing is what taught me the true value of its power, and I do now own FB, TWTR, LNKD (thanks MSFT), BIDU, … and recently added some SNAP, after a decent post-IPO pullback. I would love to contribute to this amazing community, and share my thoughts and ideas for potential investments and trading opportunities. Given my non-English background these tips will mostly come in the form of a trading journal, where I wish to share some trading ideas before Wall Street opens, as often as possible. We will also track our results/profitability as this evolves. I gladly accept any ideas or suggestions from the community! Being an audiophile, I will occasionally also add some of my favourite music, which helps with the days that the market bites your backside.

Welcome aboard good to have another active trader and gen Xer. Steemit is the only social media I have. Still trying to figure it all out. I try and do a daily report on the HUI.
