This was me (a long time ago). Well, 8 years ago. On our 1st trip to Canada. We did a tour of Thousand Island, Quebec and Ottawa. Just the two of us, on a coach with so many strangers. I was scared, but couldn't show it to my child as I was supposed to be her rock.
My bestie from uni suggested we did the trip instead. It was probably the best thing we ever did. I always thought there was no bond between me and my child. But the feedback and observations from other passengers on the coach brought tears to me eyes. There was one rather good looking fella who comment how we 'fit like a glove'. Made me rather emotional.
We saw a lot of things on this tour but my memory doesn't serve me right and I even had a hard time remember where the third destination on this tour was too! So, I will blog all my travels from now on.
My (now 12 year old) daughter is rather keen on snapping pics of almost everything from rainbows to the snow we currently have so will make good use of this site too.
