Hello Everyone - It is time to start my Steemit Journey - My Introduction! 🍉

Hello everyone!

My name is Nadia. I am 22 years old and I am from Phuket, Thailand.

My hometown is pretty famous for being one of the top tourist destinations in Thailand and that is no surprise 'cause this island is pretty darn cool!

Let me tell you a little more about where I'm from!

If you haven't heard of Phuket - it is the biggest island in Thailand and located in the Andaman sea. A large portion of the locals in the town center are of Thai-Chinese ancestry - They migrated during the reign of King Rama IV (1084-1868). You will get a flavour of the Chinese influence as you walk through the streets and spot distinct Chinese architecure in the buildings and temples.

My family came to Phuket from nearby mainland. My dad is from Krabi and my mom is from Pang-nga. They moved, worked, met, married and had me and my 2 sisters on the island.

After finishing high school I moved to capital city Bangkok to start my Bachelor Degree in English and Spanish Language studies. I have now completed 3 out of 4 years, so that I have less than a year left to complete my degree. Yay!

When I'm not studying for my classes, I enjoy reading novels, especially ones that have an element of mystery in them and historical literature when I'm in a more serious mood.

I am all about the healthy life! I love working out in the gym, rockclimbing, swimming...I even do little martial arts training. A yummy fruit shake after the training of course!

Well my future plans after graduate are either master degree or might work in Thailand for a while first...not sure yet. And yes! I have been to the states and Hawaii twice for studying and traveling, I love it there so much :)
