Presentation Nathaly Lanz
I am the second daughter of 4 siblings. I am happily married, I have 3 beautiful children, two boys and a girl. The oldest is a boy and is 24 years old, the second is also a boy and is 12 years old and the last one is a 10 year old girl. My 3 treasures. I think that my real profession is to be a mother of 3 children.
I am a business administrator, but I do not currently practice my profession. In fact, after graduating I worked for 8 years in a telecommunications company in the area where I played a role related to my profession.
Then I resigned and worked in the medical visit, a job that gave me a lot of experience through travel, I met several countries thanks to that company. That job was really motivating, apart from being well paid, we were encouraged every day to be better at what we did. At that time I lived in Ciudad Bolivar, the capital of the state of Bolivar, Venezuela.
As a medical visitor I worked in my base area, that is, Ciudad Bolivar and in the city of El Tigre. I worked one week in each city. I had to travel and be away from home for a week, the difficult thing was to leave the children during that week, they stayed with my mother and a lady who helped her.
I had to quit that job because my husband lived further south in the state, in a town called Upata, he traveled every weekend to Ciudad Bolivar while I was living there.
He was building a house for our family, and when it was ready I had to move, I quit my job as a health visitor to devote myself to my family. Truly a rewarding and lovely job, it can be exhausting at times, but you get the satisfaction of watching them grow from up close.
Even though we work a lot at home, because it is not only about taking care of the children, it is about doing all the household chores and helping the little ones with their daily chores, as we are in a pandemic, here in Upata the classes are completely distance learning.
My husband is an Obstetrician Gynecologist; for the last 4 years I have been his assistant and secretary, but since the pandemic started I do everything from home, I stopped going to the clinic because of the high risk and additionally because I had to stay at home with the younger children.
I love to cook, for me cooking is the most fun thing to do at home, I love baking. I love to make new recipes and sometimes I modify them.
I always remember an anecdote that happened to me when I went to Bolivar and my mother had a birthday, I was going to make a tiramisu for December 24 and I ended up making a sponge cake moistened in 3 milks filled with the cream cheese of the tiramisu. I had left the coffee liqueur and instant coffee in Upata. Even though I knew it could be made with coffee, it was too late and I changed or rather invented a recipe at the last minute. It really turned out great, at least the birthday girl liked it.
I hope to share, enjoy and learn through this medium, for now I say goodbye counting on your receptivity and support for mutual growth in this space.

Soy la segunda hija de 4 hermanos. Estoy felizmente casada, tengo 3 hijos hermosos, dos varones y una niña. El mayor es varón y tiene 24 años de edad, el segundo también es varón y tiene 12 años y la última es una niña de 10 años. Mis 3 tesoros. Pienso que mi verdadera profesión es ser madre de 3.
Soy administradora de empresas, pero actualmente no ejerzo mi profesión. De hecho recién graduada estuve trabajando durante 8 años en una empresa de telecomunicaciones de la zona donde si desempeñaba un rol a fin a mi profesión.
Luego renuncié y trabaje en la visita médica, un trabajo que me dejó mucha experiencia a través de los viajes, conocí varios países gracias a esa empresa. Realmente ese trabajo fue algo motivador, aparte de ser bien remunerado nos incentivaban a cada día a ser mejores en lo que hacíamos. Yo vivía en ese entonces en Ciudad Bolívar, la capital del estado Bolívar, Venezuela.
Como visitador médico trabajaba en mi zona base, es decir; Ciudad Bolívar y en la ciudad del Tigre. Trabajaba una semana en cada Ciudad. Debía viajar y estar una semana fuera de mi casa, lo difícil era dejar los niños durante esa semana, se quedaban con mi madre y una señora que la ayudaba.
Tuve que renunciar a ese trabajo porque mi esposo vivía más hacia el sur del estado, en un pueblo llamado Upata, él viajaba todos los fines de semana a Ciudad Bolívar mientras yo estuve viviendo allí.
Él estaba construyendo una casa para nuestra familia, y cuando estuvo lista me tuve que mudar, renuncié a mi trabajo de visitador médico para dedicarme a mi familia. Realmente un trabajo gratificante y adorable, a veces suele ser agotador, pero se tiene la satisfacción de verlos crecer desde cerca.
Aún cuando se trabaja mucho en la casa, porque no sólo es estar pendiente de los niños, es realizar todas las tareas del hogar y adicional ayudar a los pequeños con sus labores diarias, como estamos en pandemia, aquí en Upata las clases son a distancia completamente.
Mi esposo es Ginecólogo Obstetra; desde hace 4 años soy su asistente y secretaria, pero desde que comenzó la pandemia hago todo desde casa, dejé de ir a la clínica por el alto y riesgo y adicional porque debía quedarme con los niños menores en la casa.
Me encanta cocinar, para mí la cocina es lo más divertido que hay en las tareas del hogar, amo la repostería. Me gusta mucho hacer recetas nuevas y a veces las modifico.
Siempre recuerdo una anécdota que me ocurrió en una oportunidad fui a Bolívar y mi mamá estaba de cumpleaños, iba a hacer un tiramisú para un 24 de diciembre y terminé haciendo un bizcocho humedecido en 3 leches relleno con la crema de quesos del tiramisú. Se me había quedado en Upata el licor de café y el café instantáneo. Aún cuando sabía que se podía hacer con café, ya era tarde y cambié o mejor dicho inventé una receta de último momento. Realmente quedó genial, por lo menos a la cumpleañera le gustó.
Espero compartir, disfrutar y aprender, por este medio, por ahora me despido contando con su receptividad y apoyo para un crecimiento mutuo en este espacio.
