Hi steemit!
My name is Oleg, I'm 32 years old. I have been engaged in IT for more than 10 years. I live in Belarus. The last few years I have been actively monitoring the technology of blockchain. I was engaged in mining, programming on Ethereum platform with Solidity, Truffle, OpenZeppelin.
In the blog, I plan to write about technologies, programming, IT news, etc.
My favorite language is Python, I'll try to tell you something interesting about it.
With the popularity of cryptocurrency, people who are not related to IT began to contact me, with questions about where to store crypto, how to buy and sell, etc. I will cover these topics here also.
I noticed steemit several months ago when for one project it was required to write large volumes of text in the blockchain. During this time I figured out how this works and I believe in the great potential of this platform. Especially after the launch of smart media tokens (SMT).
I will try to make my posts as informative and useful.
So my first mini project:
On March 15, I will perform at the meetup for python developers. I want to tell them about steemit. Some will hear about steemit for the first time. My goal is to tell you about the platform and show what it can give to the developers.
During the preparation, I will publish parts of this report in the form of posts and I will be very grateful if you will help me. Perhaps I will miss something or I will make a mistake, maybe something will be unclearly described, please leave your opinion in the comments.

Меня зовут Олег, мне 32 года. Живу в Беларуси, город Минск. Более 10 лет занимаюсь IT. Последнее несколько лет активно слежу за технологией blockchain. Занимался майнингом, программированием для платформы Ethereum используя Solidity, Truffle, OpenZeppelin. В блоге планирую писать о технологиях, программировании, новостях IT и т.д.
Мой любимый язык - Python, постараюсь рассказать что-нибудь интересное про него.
С ростом популярности криптовалют, ко мне стали обращаться люди, не связанные с IT, с вопросами относительно того где хранить, как покупать-продавать и т.д. Буду по мере свободного времени освещать эти вопросы здесь.
На steemit обратил внимание несколько месяцев назад, когда для одного проекта понадобилось записывать большие объемы текста в блокчейн. За это время разобрался, как это все работает и верю в большой потенциал этой платформы. Особенно после запуска смарт медиа токенов.
Я постараюсь сделать свои посты максимально информативными и полезными.
Итак мой первый мини проект:
15 марта мне предстоит выступить на митапе для python разработчиков. Xочу рассказать им про steemit. Некоторые услышат про steemit впервые. Моя цель - рассказать про платформу и показать, что она может дать разработчикам.
Во время подготовки я буду публиковать части этого доклада в виде постов и буду очень благодарен, если вы поможете мне. Возможно, я что-то упущу или ошибусь, возможно что-то будет непонятно описано, пожалуйста оставьте ваше мнение в комментариях.

спасибо почитаю, но с голосом как-то не получилось. Очень мало документации для разработчиков и библиотека для python не завелась с первого раза.
Добро пожаловать на стимит!!! :) Лично я с большим удовольствием хочу научиться хотя бы немножко программировать. Начал несколько месяцев назад начал с C# потому что мне программа "Visual Studio" очень понравилась. А вот про Python пока что вообще ничего не знаю. Так что, буду ждать твоих следующих постов!

Здравствуйте K'Олеги ! :) Вы случайно ещё не слышали про "Manna coins" которые еженедельно раздаются на платформе "Manabase.com"? Пытаюсь узнать можно ли их как-нибудь майнить, но от программистов проекта пока что ещё никакого ответа не пришло. Вы случайно не в теме?

Я тоже хотел попробовал майнить, но никакой толковой информации на эту тему не нашёл. Support не отвечает на запросы. Есть два канала на Telegram — официальный и неофициальный. Можно там попробовать разузнать.
Вроде бы они мой вопрос уже получили, но перенаправили какому-то эксперту по майнингу. Так что, подожду ещё пару дней, а вдруг и ответят :) Так что если хоть какая-то инфа появиться - сразу же поделюсь ;)

Welcome to Steemit! It's got a steep learning curve, but it's worth it in the long run if you keep putting in the time! Just know that it will take quite a while before you start getting attention and followers. The biggest secret to success? Keep posting high quality content regularly, and make sure to search out other people's posts, read them, and give relevant comments.
Tagging is extremely important. Always make sure to use all five possible tags, and to keep them relevant. You can always just tag something "blog" or "photography" or something else really general (so long as it's still relevant) to fill the quota if you need to- most of your tags should be established ones, though one or two less used ones are fine.
Posting more than four times a day can reduce your potential rewards, as well as turning off potential users. (I aim for one post per day most of the time.) Consistency is important, though, so try to have a regular posting schedule. You should also be sparing with resteems- only do it for really important posts. (I resteem a post once a month or less, generally.)
Always make sure to attach a photo to your posts! You should also have a finished profile: Write a description, add a profile picture and a banner- neither needs to be a photo of you, necessarily, but you should have something- and set a website.
There are a lot of really good resources out there for plankton and minnows (new users). You should check out the following groups and services, they offer a lot of valuable resources:
@thesteemengine (Check this one out first- they're an extremely supportive group that can help out in a lot of ways.)
@qurator (These guys offer an excellent liftime upvote to accounts that post consistent quality content.)
@steembasicincome (Another lifetime upvote option.)
@steemstem (The biggest and best STEM curation group in the game. If you're interested in writing or reading about science, check these guys out!)
@geopolis (A fairly new science curation group, this one's dedicated to the study of the Earth.)
@ocd (A curation group that seeks out undervalued new writers.)
@photocontests (Runs contests and provides other support for photographers.)
Much of the activity on steemit actually takes place off Steemit, on places like steemit.chat and discord. Learning to use them is a great idea.
And, again, the biggest thing is just patience. Breakout successes are incredibly rare on Steemit- you've got to find your way to success through perseverance and hard work. It takes time, but you'll eventually succeed if you put in the work.

Hi, yes I heard about it. For me It seems like a scam. Not clear if funding fit to Belarus regulations, who is in charge. But on other hand, they have big piece of land near the Minsk and building some prototype.
Yeah, it seems like a scam, but I read a lot about it and it's interesting. They are building Ecotown in Belarus and it seems they're serious about it.. Thanks for the answer!
