I'm not very good with introductions but let's get on with it. I go by JF, it's not my first name but it's too long so most people just use my nickname. I live in a mid-sized town about 30 minutes away from Montréal.
As the accent on the e suggests, I'm a quebecer.
I never went to university but I did have an intention to go when I was younger but I got a good job out of cégep (between high school and university in Québec) and then life kinda happens. I'm not ruling out going back soon tho as I'm not satisfied where I am now. I've been into crypto since 2011 or 2012. The reason I'm on steemit is because of #gridcoin . I had never really paid attention to it until someone posted a link to a post here. I really like the concept tho and I'm here to stay.
Let's see what else... I have 2 cats and a German shepherd. They're amazing. I love tinkering with computers and other tech. Coding is my kryptonite. My favorite games are pretty much all RPGs.
The reason why I love steemit and gridcoin is because they serve a purpose rather then burning electricity to "just" secure itself. (it's important to be secure, let's be real)

You are fortunate to have been paying attention to the crypto-sphere from such an early time, myself I only just began really being attentive in the last couple months... started mining on a couple GPU rigs and have already begun to see how much potential there is in all this.
