Hello everyone!
This is me @meetmysuperego! And this is my introduction for my @randomtravels account. It took a month for this to get approved and finally after the long wait, I'm here writing the obligatory #introduceyourself post.
This account will solely be for my travel posts. If you have been following my main account, you would notice that I'm into travelling.
I fell inlove with backpacking in 2015 when we had our seminar in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. It was my second time to be on a plane. Too excited to see the clouds, and too scared to get lost. Haha.
I posted this in my Instagram account last July 17, 2015. I was resting in their baywalk after biking around. It was a night to remember. It was one usual night, nothing extraordinary. But it was the turning point of everything. I felt so overwhelmed to be in a new place, I can actually feel my heart beating so fast.
Since, then I became an avid visitor of Cebu Pacific and Air Asia's website. I wasn't born in a well-off family so thank God for seat sales! Gone are the days when only the rich are the ones who can travel. Not anymore.
You just have to patiently wait and read a lot so you'll get to learn travel tips. My favorite travel blog is the thepoortraveler. They're so good at traveling on a budget, you won't even believe its possible - but it is.
I'm a firm believer of this - "If there's a will, there's a way." Despite being just a plain employee here in the Philippines, this didn't stop me from fulfilling my wanderlust. Life is a matter of priority. Its always plane tickets over bags or shoes. Moreover, I'm a low maintenance kind of person, I'm into living a simple life not spending what is beyond my financial capacity. Travel is my priority. Nothing else.
But travel isn't for everybody. I'm not here to tell you to go explore the world for you to get fulfillment. There's a bunch of other things that will bring us so much joy. Whatever it is, go fight for it. Life is too short to be living for other people. This is your life, you're the captain of the ship, you get to decide which journey to take. The decision will always be yours - have the courage to go for your heart's desire. Choose happiness. Choose yourself.
As part of my intro, here are some of my travel photos. All of them were captured using my iPhone or Canon 1100D, enhanced in Adobe Lightroom CC or in default iPhone Photo Editor and collaged using Pixlr.
