Saludos a esta respetada comunidad, hace unos meses traté de iniciar actividades en esta plataforma en la cual hay mucha gente que he conocido a través de sus valiosas publicaciones, sin embargo, en este contexto de pandemia por #Covid19 y viviendo actualmente en uno de los países más pobres del mundo, Venezuela, en el cual usar una mascarilla diaria representa toda una odisea (la mayoría la desinfectamos y reutilizamos), o contar con agua potable de manera frecuente para el necesario lavado de manos, finalmente le tocó a mi familia luchar con esa terrible enfermedad. Y es que a mediados de mayo inició un proceso de enfermedad en el cual desde mis padres y hermanas, hasta mis pequeños sobrinos de 3 años nos contagiamos en una suerte de reacción en cadena, comportamiento muy peculiar de este virus que finalmente terminó por llevarse a mi papá de 70 años, dejándonos devastados en medio de un proceso de recuperación de la enfermedad en algunos casos más lento que otros. Quizás en un futuro post narre con mayor detalle la experiencia. Lo referido, suspendió hasta ahora mi intención de participar en Hive con publicaciones, aportes e interacción en general.
Greetings to this respected community, a few months ago I tried to start activities on this platform in which there are many people that I have met through their valuable publications, however, in this context of a #Covid19 pandemic and currently living in one of the poorest countries in the world, Venezuela, in which wearing a daily mask represents an odyssey (most of us disinfect and reuse it), or have drinking water frequently for the necessary hand washing, finally it was my family's turn to fight with that terrible disease. And it is that in mid-May a disease process began in which from my parents and sisters, to my little nephews of 3 years we were infected in a kind of chain reaction, a very peculiar behavior of this virus that finally ended up being carried away my 70-year-old dad, leaving us devastated in the middle of a process of recovery from the disease in some cases slower than others. Perhaps in a future post I will narrate the experience in greater detail. The aforementioned, until now suspended my intention to participate in Hive with publications, contributions and interaction in general.
En este sentido, me presento nuevamente, me llamo Reina Sequera, soy profesora universitaria y me llama mucho la atención la tecnología, sobre todo si ésta se presenta en una modalidad en la cual puedes transitar hacia el paradigma de la libertad económica, mientras que en este proceso se aprende de todos y se hacen nuevas amistades provenientes de cualquier parte de nuestro planeta. Antes de ser profesora en la universidad, me dediqué por muchos años a la educación secundaria, un nivel en el cual aprendí mucho, debo confesar que hice más amistades entre mis estudiantes que con mis colegas, imposible olvidar la diversidad de experiencias vividas con personas en una edad tan difícil como es la adolescencia, debes adaptarte a su imaginación en el marco del respeto y la disciplina sin perder la empatía y la humanidad, algunos me llamaban mamá, seguramente también escriba sobre esto en el futuro, fue una etapa de vida muy feliz y de mucho aprendizaje.

Before being a professor at the university, I dedicated myself for many years to secondary education, a level in which I learned a lot, I must confess that I made more friends among my students than with my colleagues, impossible to forget the diversity of experiences lived with people in such a difficult age as adolescence, you must adapt to their imagination within the framework of respect and discipline without losing empathy and humanity, some called me mom, surely I will also write about this in the future, it was a very life stage happy and learning a lot.
Ya en la universidad, trabajo en una Facultad de Educación, apoyando la formación de futuros docentes, me especializo en Matemática, he trabajado con muchas asignaturas de mi área de experticia y afines (ciencia, investigación y tecnología) en diferentes semestres y turnos. Al respecto, confieso que cuando aún existía me gustaba mucho trabajar en el turno de la noche, las perspectivas de vida de las personas que hacían vida en el mismo eran de mucho enfoque y visión de lo que estaban haciendo, la mayoría trabajaba de día y estudiaba en la noche, lo cual incorporaba un elemento de sacrificio y valentía admirables desde mi humilde punto de vista.
Already in university, I work in a Faculty of Education, supporting the training of future teachers, I specialize in Mathematics, I have worked with many subjects in my area of expertise and related (science, research and technology) in different semesters and shifts. In this regard, I confess that when I still existed I really liked working the night shift, the life perspectives of the people who made life in it were of a lot of focus and vision of what they were doing, the majority worked during the day and I studied at night, which incorporated an element of sacrifice and courage admirable from my humble point of view.
En cuanto a mi formación, soy Licenciada en Educación Mención Matemática con Maestría en Matemática y Computación. Tengo escolaridad terminada en la Maestría de Investigación Educativa y en el Doctorado en Educación, pero la situación económica actual de mi país no me ha permitido concretar los grados respectivos por estar mentalizada fundamentalmente en labores alternativas para garantizar el sustento de mi familia (alimentación mayormente). En cuanto a mi carácter, soy sociable, amigable y de fuerte temperamento, algunos dirían, así son los del signo de tauro, jajajaja, pero quizás exageran un poquito con lo del temperamento. En ocasiones soy un poco perfeccionista, me gustan las cosas bien hechas y no me gusta para nada el desorden. La pandemia me ha hecho descubrir que a pesar de disfrutar los momentos de introspección, es muy importante el contacto con la sociedad, con las personas, con las amistades, la cuarentena, si bien es necesaria para preservar la salud y la vida puede ser muy dura si no se cuenta con la creatividad para no caer un una tormentosa rutina. Muchos hemos tenido que estar distanciados de nuestros espacios laborales y con la deficiencia de los servicios y recursos tecnológicos ha sido cuesta arriba mantener un contacto virtual, muchos se han ido del país en la búsqueda de mejores oportunidades.

The pandemic has made me discover that despite enjoying moments of introspection, contact with society, with people, with friends, quarantine is very important, although it is necessary to preserve health and life can be very important. It lasts if you don't have the creativity to avoid falling into a stormy routine. Many of us have had to be distanced from our work spaces and with the deficiency of services and technological resources it has been difficult to maintain virtual contact, many have left the country in search of better opportunities.
Tengo muchas expectativas sobre mi participación en este entorno social, ya he participado antes en plataformas similares, no obstante, espero conocer muchas personas con las cuales pueda interactuar y aprender mucho, siento que debo ponerme al día con muchos conceptos del momento y si algo es cierto, es que la mayoría de las cosas que he aprendido de la tecnología blockchain ha sido de la comunidad joven, que son como una ráfaga, aprenden mucho y muy rápido, seguro que me pondré al día muy rápido.
I have high expectations about my participation in this social environment, I have participated before in similar platforms, however, I hope to meet many people with whom I can interact and learn a lot, I feel that I must catch up with many concepts of the moment and if something is True, it is that most of the things that I have learned from blockchain technology have been from the young community, which are like a blast, they learn a lot and very fast, I'm sure I will catch up very quickly.
