Greetings,
My name is Safiyah and I'm curious and excited about the possibilities in the steemit community. It was recommended to me recently so I decided to give it a go. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and I love what I do. I have been practicing regularly for the past 2 years and have been licensed for nearly 6 years.
I spent some of that time staying home with my two daughters. I love to pass down to them what I know. I am inspired by Waldorf schooling philosophy and the concept of Earthschooling. We do some fun projects in these areas.
For the past 3 years I have been on an apprenticeship with a school known as the Fountain of Life. This is dedicated to spiritual/shamanic practices involving breathwork, dance, yoga and more to open the awareness to the divine currents running through us and to heal any trauma in our lives or epigenetic memory. It's really been an amazing journey and I love how modern science is beginning to study these ancient teachings and wisdom.
I have also begun a journey studying "Complementary Alternative Medicine" and am very passionate about healing and wellness.
I love spending time learning, immersing myself in nature and unleashing my creativity. I'd love for you to follow me as I share more about all of these topics.
