Newer to HIVE and just a little about myself.
I am about 50 years old so I am a little behind the times when it comes to social media, but I am catching on. I live in California’s Bay Area where life is fast. I love coming home to our small farm at the end of the day and being able to escape the normal busy life of the Bay Area. On our small farm we have ten chickens, two goats, two sheep, and two dogs. We also have over 30 fruit trees on the property. We have a large garden that we grow many of our own vegetables, which also includes Columbus, Magnum, Northern, and Cascade hops, which I use in my homebrewed beers. I have been brewing beer now for over 25 years and still love brewing, drinking, and sharing my beers.
Here is part of garden as we just started planting. We have three parts to our garden that are equal in size to this one.

Besides running a small farm and brewing beer, I enjoy motorsports. When I was younger I raced motocross that led into road racing a Mazda RX-7 and then finally running a later model Chevrolet Monte Carlo at a local NASCAR track. I don’t race any longer but still love racing and love to watch it.
Theses are some of the old cars I had and motorcyles that I raced.
Now we will talk a little about how I got to HIVE.
Well I have been playing Splinterlands now since November of 2020. Started slowly and even lost my login at one point. My Splinterlands card collection really started to grow and currently fighting in the gold league. After about a year I started really liking Splinterlands and read an article about Splintertalk and thought it sounded like something I would like. I posted a few messages on Splintertalk and enjoyed it. But then I noticed that Splintertalk was a small part of HIVE and there was much more content on HIVE.

I started just reading posts on HIVE and then began upvoting content. Through HIVE I found RISING STAR which I have been playing for about 2 months and I really enjoy the game. I am currently working about 200 experience points from level 30. I really enjoy playing both Splinterlands and Rising Star.

I have made a few posts on HIVE now and see many people #introduceyourself, so this is mine introduction, maybe a little late but better then never. I think everything about HIVE is great and happy to be a part of it.

Good to meet ya, @scoutroc. There's nothing quite like an RX-7, is there? How'd it treat you as a race car?
That RX-7 was a perfect race car that won some races and put me on the pole numerous times. I wish I had kept that car but I sold it for a stock car. That RX-7 was not as fast as some of the cars I had but was one of the cars I had the most fun in.

Last year I had the fun to be at the race track of Spa in Belgium as co-pilot - this few hours in a Lotus was awesome
