Oops, didn't put my introduction post in the correct category - guess I still have a lot to learn!

Hi everyone at steemit,

I'm a 63-year old granny who loves my grandchildren and dogs more than anything in the world, but I'm quite fanatical about my laptop, my cell phone, my magazines,

and of course, my beloved camera.

The concepts of blockchain technology and criptocurrencies aren't new to me, but when a friend suggested I try steemit, I immediately thought, "Oh no, I'm much too old for this". My brain is (figuratively speaking, of course!) split 50/50 - I'm sort of artsy, and sort of a gadget freak, so the left side took over and I decided, "why not?"

So here I am, all eager and ready to learn something new.
