I strongly believe we don’t make our dream, we live the dreams. When I wake up happy about the sun that rises, I don’t forget it will set. My vision is using the short time I have to accomplish my mission by living the dream live imposed on me, seeing each unfolding day like one to create a story and leave my footprint in the sand of time.
Bogne Penka is my name also known as sofie’s voice. I am 20 years old.
I’m a slam poet artist. I do spoken words. As an artist, there is nothing I love and cherish like WORDS. Words seduce me, captivate me and I strongly embrace them. Ever since the first day I felt in love with words, they became part of my soul. To me there is no best way to express your emotions than letting them out in one thrilling way “words”. What I see, hear or feel I often feel like I should put them down in in fascinating words which get everyone drawn deep in feelings. Ink and paper ma best companion. Words my first love.
What’s more beautiful than words?
They makes my strength, forever in love with words is one thing I believe in. Just as said there’s a natural music in the sincere language of emotions, every single moment I always sink deep in this natural music with the emotional words I let flow.
As a law student, I study English private law. I’m a level two student. My purpose for studying law is because I want to specialise in environmental law. As far as I’m concern, I see environmental law as one of the law the most violated and most silent on which authorities are highly given a depth ear. I care about nature, care about humanity and the only way to keep humanity safe is preserving the environment if not in a hundred years, the earth will be a catastrophe. And the only people to save the planet are we humans. By been conscious of our mistakes and our cruelty against nature and repairing those errors. So my purpose in looking forward to specialise in environmental law is to create awareness about this fast dying law, and join hands with those fighting against the violation of this law to save the environment for the good of humanity.
My purpose for getting myself involve in steem is actually to use my arts, so as to earn money to continue my studies and achieve my dreams of been an environmentalist lawyer and counsellor as well as help to conserve Bamenda Highlands Forests together with my friends from the Network for Conservation of Bamenda HIghlands Forests and publisher of fundraising voting bot @treeplanter.
