Here is @ifioklee doing the official launch/introduction of the @steemit-uyo - the steemit Uyo community profile which is dedicated towards bringing to the general steemit community the activities as it pertains to the fast growing steemit community in Nigeria.
About Uyo
Uyo is the capital city of Akwa-ibom State Nigeria, it is located at the south-south part of the country an boost a very large amount of young persons who are computer literates as well as having creative and innovative minds.

Background Of Uyo steemit community
The @steemit-uyo community is known to have been inspired by the effort of @samstickkz who started out the idea of having a community of steemit users within the Uyo community, with less than five active steemit users including @samstickkz, @evelyniroh @samuelwealth at the beginning of October 2017, and through various collaborative effort and input from these steemisns, the steemit Uyo community has been able to grow rapidly and at the time of compiling this report boast a massive 100+ active members.
Therefore, the launch of @steemit-uyo is aimed at creating a channel for communicating to the general steemit community the activities that takes place within the steemit Uyo community.
Our Mission
At @steemit-uyo, our mission is to build an effective online and offline creative community through Steemit and the STEEM blockchain.
Recurit: We look forward to aiding the recruitment of more steemit users within the Uyo community.
Coach: As the the community get more persons from the Uyo community, it is our aim that we would aid in coachethwm to understanding what the core values entails as well as the basic to succeeding on the platform.
Empower: Our team is developing plans to aid the rapidly raising number of members within the steemit Uyo community to help these members get more rewards on their content, this would be done by providing support in form of upvoted on posts by members of the community.

Support
The @steemit-uyo community get a large part of its support from @stach as well as contributions from active steemisns from the Uyo community, @stach recently funded the launch of the @stach hub in Uyo which is a co-working space equipped with free Wi-Fi and power where Steemisns can come and learn about Steemit while running their individual businesses within the hub.
Looking Forward
We hope to use this medium as basically as a channel of communication through which we can share more about the @steemit-uyo community, future goals and most importantly- our amazing members as well as their activities.
