Introducing "T.ACT" (The ACT) to the steemit community

Hello steemians, we're The ACT aka T.ACT.

TACT is a group of creative, imaginative and innovative youths, currently based in Nigeria.

THE AIM
The principal aim of this team is to use the power of the blockchain technology to help our communities through the steemit community.

THE OBJECTIVES
Some of the basic objectives to be achieved by @tact include:

1. Informing the youths in our society about the steemit community and the benefits of being a part of it.
2. Helping to register and tutor all new members of the @tact team on how to progress on the steemit platform.
3. To educate the youths on the blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
4. To organise meet ups periodically for the members of @tact.
5. To create the enabling environment for the average African youth to be an active and committed member of the steemit community by creating Steemit Hubs in major cities, with free and constant electricity and free wifi.

THE PROGRESS SO FAR
The @tact team which is currently headed by @supreme.yuma and @aehiguese has successfully registered over 20 new steemians in their few days of operation. Some of them include: @wynn.sparklez, @bishopson, @matadonis, @chicsman, @elinasylvester, @clara05 and a few others .

We have set up WhatsApp groups to help tutor new steemians on how best to contribute to the steemit community. These WhatsApp groups entertain and answer questions that the new steemians and also teach them on need-to-knows on the steemit platform. The WhatsApp groups have also given room for steemians from all over the country to interact with each other.

COMING SOON

1. We working on creating our own discord channel.
2. Plans are already in motion for the first TACT steemit meet up, that would be held in Warri, Nigeria in just a few weeks time.
3. We're also working on plans to set up the steemit hubs. The hubs should be ready in about six to seven weeks.

Our beginnings are little but our dreams are not.
T.ACT believes in taking actions to better our world.
