Hello All,
I am Vishnu Das M from India. I am a cosmopolitan individual who likes to travel and meet new people and cultures. And I had quite a few experiences in my life which has made me realise the importance of seeing life as a journey rather than a destination. And that qualifies as the meaning of the word “SUCCESS” for me.
I was raised in the royal city of Trivandrum in the southern most state of **India, Kerala. **Knows as the God’s Own. Country, Kerala is know for its pristine landscapes dotted with beaches, mountains, backwaters and rivers. As **1991 **kid, I was blessed to enjoy the transition from a relatively slow world of collectivism to a more and more hyper individualistic digital world. This has helped me to be really adaptable changes which helps me a lot in my personal and professional journey. From a Mechanical Engineer, a Consultant and to an Entrepreneurship Journey of Sustainable Living it was full of adventure and life.
I have completed my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and has worked with Larsen & Toubro Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior Engineer. Post this, I did my Master of Management from IIT Bombay and then worked with Jordan Bank, Amman as a procurement consultant. Then I venture into my own startup called Together We Farm (www.togetherwefarm.com) where we are helping the families to build sustaianble livelihoods which can provide them healthy lifestyle and food security.
I have travelled across India from south to north and east to west and each one of those journeys and each one of those days were as magical as it can be. I have been blessed to travel abroad too to Turkey, Nepal and Thailand. Some people on these journeys became family members while others returned back to be strangers. Some remained in the soul while others were washed out by the mind.
As a traveller, I have come to notice that a place is not just about the surroundings but has deeply ingrained reflection of the people, culture, art and food. When you leave a place it’s these which create memories rather than the place itself. It remains as a marker of your journey timeline. Like people, some moments also stayed with you of the beautiful journey . Sometimes a sunset by the lake or a ride through the mountains brings back the memories of this journey !!
As an entrepreneur, I love to work on social entrepreneurship ventures which can impact the world and humanity as a whole. With this vision I have started to work on improving the education based on community participatory learning. In the age of climate change, it’s imperative for businesses to focus on the betterment of humanity as a species, rather than just a collection of consumers.
I love writing, photography and playing football and basketball. I am currently writing an English poem series which I hope to publish this year. I am an individual who believes in the power of discipline in life and keeps myself motivated to follow healthy routines and habits.
Currently, I am pursuing Sustainable Development and Management from Nalanda University, India. It is one of the most pristine campuses in India, replicating the architecture of the Ancient Nalanda University.I am happy to be a part of this community and looking forward to sharing my thoughts, experiences and learnings in the coming days !!
I was not aware of hive till my friend told about hive and how it works. He motivated me to join the platform. He always jots down articles on the platform and that made me curious. I've joined this platform and I'm looking forward to making inspiring and creative content. I am also looking forward to improving my skills and getting to know each one of you, your views and a lot more….
