I am a long time Guild Wars player. I played both the initial game and Guild Wars 2, although I have became inactive a while before the latest GW2 expansion was released. It had nevertheless a huge impact in my gaming experience and I still use my main character from the first game as my Avatar in gaming communities. The nickname I use now also comes from this time. GW encouraged players to name their characters using 2 names. I had fun coming up with original names for some of my characters and that is how Funecio Agrante came to be.
Currently I play Hades' Star, which is a free mobile first game that plays much better on PC. It is quite unique in gameplay, requiring strategy and developing a particular sense of timing that I haven't found anywhere else. I remember one time I stopped playing for a few months and when I came back I couldn't time my moves as well as before. I could feel my brain slowly adjusting and getting instinctively better at it. This was a very interesting feeling, as if my brain had to further develop an area or create new connections to handle the input and make decisions properly.
Unsurprisingly, I am also a crypto enthusiast. A few years ago I stumbled upon an upcoming TCG that promised to bring crypto gaming to a quality standard similar to mainstream games. Although it didn't have a product ready yet, it was backed by Coinbase which gave me enough confidence to invest early. The game is Gods Unchained and it was my ongoing involvement with the game's community that introduced me to PeakD in the first place, in particular via @kstreet, @meltysquid and @feanorgu.
I love plants. I am mostly a succulent collector, in particular Haworthia. They are considered the jewels of the succulent world, for their small size and intricate details. The ease of obtaining morphological variations by selective breeding lead me to also produce my own seeds. I then germinate them and grow the seedlings until they can develop their full potential. It can be surprisingly addictive at times, but also an excellent escape!

Played Guild Wars I think from week 2 after release. Used to be a gold unidentified item farmer/seller. Or doing taxi service for new players or alt characters.
I played Guild Wars 2 but stopped when my account got hacked.

My main thing in GW1 was to complete titles. I played a bit of everything. I never farmed much, apart maybe for Luxon faction - this took quite some time. I only really started accumulating wealth once I captured all the Elite skills and then doing a bit of DoA. One of the great things about GW is how cheaply you can get your characters ready for anything. Anything extra is just bling.
I remember lots of people were using simple passwords and using the same password for the game and email. I'm sorry you got hacked. They introduced 2FA and IP filtering eventually, I think that helped a lot to reduce the hacking problem too.
Yeah, unfortunate situation which in hindsight I think I had a simple password. In the end I just completely forgot my whole account cos I didn't want to get angry.
I played Guild Wars for a while, too! Back when it first came out I had a lot of fun with it.
They still keep it running! I logged in today to get fresh screenshots of my main character for the PeakD profile picture 😄

Nice! What kind of plants do you grow?
Mainly native trees, but also many fruit trees.
I am in an association (Um Milhão de Árvores) planting trees in our region with the goal of inspiring other regions to follow suit.
