Introducing Myself: A Teacher’s Return to Running and Community

in #introductionlast year (edited)

My name is David, and I'm thrilled to join this platform and I'm looking forward to connecting with many individuals here.

A bit about me: I'm a proud husband and dad to two incredible boys, aged five and three. Professionally, I’m a special education teacher, working with young children between the ages of four and six, particularly those with autism, ADHD, speech and language challenges, and more. Life is busy, but it's filled with so much love and learning!

In addition to my passion for teaching, I've always been an avid runner—or at least, I used to be. As I embark on my journey back into fitness after a 10-year hiatus, I plan to share my experiences, challenges, and triumphs. Now that I'm in my 30s, I'm eager to scratch that competitive itch again and see where this new chapter takes me.

I decided to join Hive.io because I've been craving a creative outlet and a supportive community where I can share my journey, both in fitness and in my teaching career. You can expect posts about my fitness progress, insights from my experiences as a special education teacher, and stories from the parenting front lines.

My goal is to inspire and be inspired, to learn from your experiences, and to share the lessons I've picked up along the way. I'm excited about the projects and topics I have planned, and I hope to create content that resonates with many of you.

Thanks for reading, and here's to a new adventure on Hive.io!

Thank you, I appreciate it! If there is anything you ever want commentary on let me know! Have a great weekend.

That's nice of you to offer. However, feel free to visit my Profile and peruse my various projects. If one category interests you, then by all means leave me a comment. I appreciate all curation as it's a win-win situation for us both.

On Hive, take note that it's not encouraged to ask for support of any kind. It's willingly given by each of us. I saw your introductory post from DeeAnnMathews' including it in her curation efforts, so I visited to welcome, support and encourage your new Hive adventure.

If you'd like, you can Follow me so that your works are in my feed. That way, I'll see when you've published a post. Connect with Communities for engagement and publish original work there. You'll find supportive individuals waiting to receive you.

Take care.

Welcome to the best web3 network ever, David. Have fun around here!

I appreciate it! Looking forward to getting connected with more people.

Hello... and welcome to our blockchain! I had seen a comment you left, to another dear soul in my Thoughtful Daily Post Community. Your story hit home with me, as we have grandkids that have Chromosomal and Genetic issues. I see that you have put a decent amount of fiat into your account. So it is obvious that you are hear to create a positive footprint on our blockchain. When I am not interacting in my community, or the many other communities I am in. I am also a Moderator for The Terminal Discord Server. I am hopeful that you might just be on Discord... if so. I am going to provide you with an image that once clicked, will take you to our Discord Server. It is a safe link to click... many are not, but that's just one thing we help new folks learn! SO... here's that image... I look forward to being able to help you on your blockchain journey... and send you positive vibes, and wish you a decent weekend!
