We are John Carlo a.k.a. Huan and Sharmayne a.k.a. Sharm, both IT practitioners who love to travel, explore, make DIYs, and eat. We are from Cebu, Philippines, and are currently working in Japan. @wittyzell introduced Hive to us, so support Witz by checking her blogs as well.
How did Huan meet Sharm?
Huan met Sharm in college. Back in 2009 when people start spending more time chatting online, Huan and Sharm became friends at school and in virtual spaces. In 2010, we became college couples, thanks to 13C and 09F jeepney routes (a 1-hour minibus-like public transportation from home to school and vice versa) where most of the "getting-to-know-each-other" took place.
We have the same jeepney route, so Huan took advantage of it to know more about Sharm - or maybe it's the other way around!😏
Fast forward, Huan and Sharm completed their bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and are working in the same company. The company has a program where employees can work in different countries. We are some of the few employees who were granted the opportunity which explains why we are in Japan.

Days from now, Huan and Sharm will have a little one - our baby girl Hiraya a.k.a Aya. Oh yeah, Sharm is about 9 months pregnant as of the writing, so expect to see Aya in our future blogs.
