My name is Claire, and I’m currently based near Boston, Massachusetts. I have been wexploring on Medium for a couple years. Recently, I learned about Hive Blogs from a Medium post. Thanks to that post, I’m now exploring the world of blockchain.
There’s definitely some learning ahead as I give this a try. And I am already getting to know a lot of the communities and such.
I’ve been working as a software developer for many years, mostly in mid-sized corporations. I have always been interested in tech, writing, and reading fictions/non-fictions, making things by hand, meditations, and news/politics.
You’ll see me posting articles as I reflect on my various journeys — including this one (hopefully) — and on current events connected to my past experiences in the corporate world, my travels, or my ongoing projects such as automation with n8n, DigitalOcean, and self-hosting.

Hi @alexbiojs thank you! I am still learning how to use Hive. So hopefully I can learn enough to get used to do things on here. Right now I am just feeling very newbie, for example, I can't even edit my own posts 😊

here, on Hive, we also can kind of self-host our data, well, at least we have some kind of control of them.
