I'll get my chance, especially now that they're becoming popular again. ^^
I think a few shops have popped up in nearby cities, so I'll check them out.
I have a little advice for you – buy yourself a vinyl record by an artist whose music you know very well and go to stores that sell turntables and audio equipment – ask the people there to play the record for you on different types of equipment. Don't look for something that costs thousands of dollars to start with; something much more modest will suffice. And see which sound you like best. You're buying the sound, not the brand of equipment :) Let me know how it goes!
