The post rewards come from interest on the crypto currency HIVE. The value of each upvote is determined by the amount of HIVE POWER in one's account. The Upvote Calculator shows the value of an upvote for a given amount of HIVE POWER.
You have 46 HP. The value of your upvote is worth $0.0004 .
Each upvote consumes 2% of your voting power. Voting power regenerates at 20% a day. In other words, you try to vote on ten posts a day. Your ten upvotes would be worth $0.004 .
The value of the upvote comes from interest on HIVE. Your HIVE is worth 46 * 0.25 = $11.5 . If you upvoted 10 times a day for the whole year, your upvote would be worth $1.46. It is good to build up hive power so your upvote is worth more. I have about $800 in HP and my upvote is worth $0.03. I will start with drawing down when my HP is over $1000.
