My first day on Steemit

Hello Everyone,

My account has been just approved and I'm super excited.

I have heard about Steemit that it will alleviate poverty from the world. Is that even remotely true? If yes, how come?

    Welcome. Not sure about saving humanity and making the poor rich.... But it is enjoyable and a great way of. Meeting new friends and making a little bit of extra cash. You won't be able to retire but it might buy you a beer
