With all thanks to @axiebuzz for giving me this opportunity to share and get started in this new journey of my life. Thank you also @fionasfavourites from @ocd for giving me the chance to introduce myself and welcoming me too. And i am very happy that @lovesniper instructed me how get started. I am very new to this kind of platform so i really appreciate it that @lovesniper come across to one of my published poem and without hesitation outlined the things i should be doing to get a better start up.
Who is @teachaxie?
I am a professional teacher from the Philippines and currently Teaching in one of the Public Schools here in
Tacloban City, the land of happiest people as so called. I been into teaching for almost 15 years from now and dedicated my life to educate young minds. I am not really good in English because we used to teach here in the Philippines in mother tounge, Filipino and English as long as the topic is well delivered. By the way I am a Physics teacher and my minor is Mathematics.
Writing background.
I am a Siday writer ( siday is a poem in english) a form of Writing poems in our own dialect (Waray). I have been writing poems and even manage to win some contest during Word Teacher's Day School Level.
Why do i love to write poem?
Because for me a poem is an art. An almost forgotten form of art. Whenever i write one there is this feeling of satisfaction inside.
What are the other things that i can do?
I love music too, and i was a member of Leyte Normal University Brassband it is a marching band in our university back when i was college. I used to play Tenor Sax and currently i am trying to start a Brassband in our community that will be used by our chapel ( we still accept donations, money or an instrument).
I love also to draw and it has been a part of my life. I love to draw set as the background of my written poems.
Extra interests:
I am into Axie Infinity and i am currently a scholar of Team Tank guild headed by Sir Steph. And if given extra mile i would love to make my own NFTs later.
The real @teachaxie is like a bird as the HAIKU written above. I am free, liberated and even i am battling this stormy night i still manage to sing.
