awk, I really should have mentioned LOH. you folks were super welcoming to. I got distracted by theinkwell cause fiction is def more my thing...but I should try to be active in both as LOH is an awesome community to.

I use the Peakd.com Dapp interface for Hive, there's a little icon for a pulldown for emojis next to the gif and photo upload icons.
There are more Hive Dapps than just hive.blog, peakd.com is my fav, ecency.com is another good Dapp. Then there are the mobile version of these available.

PeakD is def my fav. The layout is better the hive.blog and ecency. Though I do like that ecency has it's own points that you only get by replying to stuff that you can then use to boost your posts.
