Pratchett was the best. The world is worse for his passing. I've lost count of how many of his books I've read.
Also, I highly rec The dark profit saga by Pike. It hits a lot of the same notes as some of Pratchetts works. One of the characters even starts off hung over in a ditch.
We have most of his books and I met him at a convention once. He is much missed. I don't think I've read Pike.
I only have a few of his physical books but own most of the e-books in some form or another.
Pike writes satire that has a similar feel to Pratchett. Not in the trying to be a rip-off way but in the making fun of a genre and making a point about society while also telling a good story in the genre way.
