Yeah, for me it's sad to be humbled the way I was made to, it happened in ways I couldn't rewrite my wrongs, but I'll live with the fact that I've made attempts to make it better, even though my attempts never yielded results.
You're right, one way or the others we learn that humility from different life experiences.
