I know its not your vibe, but old splinterlands is still chugging away, slowly getting rid of more and more staff so that they can relentlessly pursue the grand vision of a land based economy with too many complicated moving parts for anyone to have a grip on. If they can achieve a functional dynamic economy at the end of all this, it will be something to marvel at (in my opinion)
