I wanted to share with my fellow steemians how to thrive in hard times

THREE CATEGORIES OF EMPLOYEES
(1) Employees that are satisfied with their job and the place where they are working but are not at the level they should be.
(2) Those who are not satisfied with where they are working. They are underemployed, under-payed and overused. Such people work because there is no better option i.e. half bread is better than none.
(3) Those who are satisfied with their work, level and position but their time in that place is up i.e. they have expired, at that point they should have been an employer of labor.
AS AN EMPLOYEE WE MUST KNOW THE FOLLOWING:
(1) The job is not yours, three things can happen: resigned, retrenchment or retired.
(2) We worth more than what we are been payed by any organisation.
(3) Every organisation is selfish. Organisation interest first.
THINGS TO DO WHILE WORKING
(1) Save: no matter how small it is. Minimum 10% of your salary. You can liaise with you bank to remove it automatically into a separate account anytime you receive your salary. Ensure you don't have access to withdraw anyhow from such account for period of time.
(2) Investment.
(3) Pursue financial liberty. Start a biz that will be fetching income either daily, weekly or monthly. Such income could be active or passive.
THINGS WE MUST NOT DO
(1) Never overstay in an organisation till you loose relevance.
(2) Never be comfortable not matter what the organisation offers.
(3) Don't eat with your ten fingers. Eat your size, wear your size, drink your size per time. Life is in phases and men are in sizes. If it is akube you can afford to buy, go for it don't compare yourself with a friend that buy TM Lewin direct from store. Soon your level will change.
Remember men are never satisfied in life, your expenses increase with your income. Therefore, start planning for your retirement by saving while working. Don't wait for gratuity that you may spend over ten years after retirement before having access to it. Some old people might even collapse while queueing for verification and the likes
