A while ago, after some unsuccessful posts had discouraged me, I cashed out some Steem into Bitcoin, then USD which I started to use for small-scale investing.
I am using Robinhood, a free iOS app (likely Android as well) that allows the user to buy and sell stocks for $0.00 fee. They were initially funded by a VC, and now makes their operating money through interest in the monies their users have in their accounts, but have not invested.
So as you can see, today was a good day for me. Three of my stocks I either held from earlier or purchased today were up:
I try to stay with what I know: precious metals, mining, technology, but for some reason, Ford popped up as an opportunity, so I bought some.
This is not going to make me rich, but it is certainly fun, less so when my stocks go down, but I try to learn from the experience and apply it to the next situation.
I encourage you to check it out!
Looks fun! Thanks for the share. Unfortunately it's not available in my country :-(
Looks interesting thanks for sharing upvoted.
